We try to over-communicate here at Procurant. Changing order management systems can be a confusing time, and re-thinking processes and systems that have been in use for years can make everyone a bit uneasy. Our position at Procurant has been the more we communicate openly and honestly, the better the transition will go.
There is one question we often get that requires some diplomacy. Of course, I'm talking about iTrade. This is a company many of us know well here at Procurant, as many of us have worked there at some point during our careers.
The question we often get asked is:
Can I stay on iTrade and just integrate with Procurant?
The simple answer to that question is: no. Procurant does not integrate with iTrade, and we have no plans to do so. There have apparently been some communications from iTrade suggesting otherwise. We want to be very clear with our supplier community about what is true.
Procurant is a replacement for iTrade. There are a multitude of reasons why several retailers are making the switch. For suppliers, this may cause some headaches. Switching systems is not always easy. We understand, but in the context of your retail buyers on Procurant, using iTrade is simply not an option.
Change can be difficult. We understand that, and we understand that every supplier is unique and may have special circumstances to consider. We take seriously our obligation to help your business through this switch of systems, and we are committed to working with you and your team in every possible way. Integration with iTrade is not an option, however.
